Lonald Dale Bridges
Lonald Dale Bridges (Lonny) 78 of Barnhart, MO. died August 10, 2019 at his home in Barnhart. He was born October 27, 1940 in Kansas City, MO. To Howard Dale and Juanita Pearl Dade Bridges. His Body is being donated to medical science at Gensis for study of Cancer.
A memorial service will be held August 24 at 2pm. Lonny attended Butler Schools from 1946 – 1955 at which time the family relocated to Adrian, MO. where he finished High school. Lonny attended CMSC one year from 1958-1959 at which time he enlisted in the US Air Force where he served four years from 1959-1963. He took correspondence courses while in the Air Force and returned to college to finish his degree in speech when he got out of the service, graduating with honors. He felt God calling him to service in 1965 and enrolled in Seminary in Kansas City, MO. It was while attending Seminary that he met his future wife Bobbie Ann Patterson, who was attending School to be an R.N. They were united in marriage on September 7, 1968. Lnny got his masters degree in Theology from Maranatha University. Lonny pastored several churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado. Through the years he was able to acquire his doctoral degree in Theology.
Lonny is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, Bobbie Ann. Son, Mathew Dale Bridges, and daughter, Alicia Joy Canon, both of Barnhart. Four grandchildren: Britney Tiedemann, Jessie Tiedemann, Alex Tiedemann and Alana Canon, all living near Barnhart, and four great-grandchildren: Audrey Tiedemann, Dannnian Tiedemann, Marcus Tiedemann and Noctus Dale Tiedemann. One sister Bettie Gail Harbur, Butler, Mo., and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
