Kenneth Leroy Holland
Kenneth Leroy Holland, age 92 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Medicalodge of Butler in Butler. He was born May 28, 1927 to Forrest “Bud” Leonard and Gladys Verna Drury Holland in Mildred, Kansas.
Kenneth, one of four children, grew up in Butler where he attended school through the eighth grade. He served as corporal in the United States Army during World War II, stationed in Korea 1945 - 1947. On September 11, 1947 he was united in marriage to Rosa Lee Osborn in Butler, and to this union, four children were born. Kenneth worked as a welder and foreman at Ash Grove. He attended the Immanuel Baptist Church in Butler.
Kenneth was honest, loving, cheerful . . . and strong emotionally. Pastimes included fishing, hunting, spending time with family, and teaching the grandchildren new things.
Kenneth is survived by one son, Mike Holland and wife Jackie of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three daughters, Vickie Richmond and husband Ike of Nevada, Missouri, Terry Morris and husband Charlie of Butler, Missouri and Twila Clubb of Ferrelview, Missouri; one brother, Richard Holland and wife Lois of McMinnville, Oregon; 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rosa in January of 2016; brother, Elwin Isaac; sister, Shirley Reynolds; and grandson Brad Morris.
