James Leonard Stubbart

January 13, 1946 - August 19, 2019

James Leonard Stubbart 73 passed away August 19th 2019. At MedicalLodge nursing home He was born January 13, 1946 to Veryl Winstom and Hazel Hartman Stubbart in South Dakota where he grew up. He attended High School in Adrian, MO.

He was in the Army for a short time and he also attended college 8 years and received a degree. James was a member of the Community of Christ Church. He loved to sing and had a good voice along with talking to people and telling jokes. He worked in Kansas City, MO as a driver for Yellow Cab Company and in Butler as a cemetery mower. He is survived by two sisters; Mary Yokum of Independence MO and Martha Butts of Wyoming. As well as the love of his life Bettie Gail Harbur of Butler MO.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister who drowned before he was born, his parents and his twin brother John.

Funeral services were held August 26, 2019 at Mullinax funeral home. Burial was in Crescent Hill cemetery near Adrian.
