DeAnn was born January 30, 1965 in Butler, daughter of Joe and Jean Christopher. She graduated from Butler High School in 1983. Following high school she attended UCM. After growing up in church together, it was in their college years that DeAnn and Kelly Craft began dating and were married on June 10, 1989. To this union they were blessed with three beautiful children Kristopher, Zachary and Lacy. DeAnn held many jobs throughout her life where she touched the lives of many individuals, but her greatest job in life was being a momma. DeAnn and Kelly’s unselfish nature caused them to take in Trustin Simpson who instantly became a part of the family. She spent time working at House of Lloyd, the office of Dr. Noe, and Prairie View School as a Para, custodian and bus driver; and most recently she worked at Get Fit Gym and Fitness. DeAnn loved and enjoyed many hobbies which included gardening, writing, painting, drawing or anything art-related, and most importantly spending time with her family. Those who knew her will agree she was a loving, caring, hardworking person who was sweet, kind, bubbly, funny, honest, special, gentle, and positive; she was mighty, fierce and brave. DeAnn was loyal to her family and God, and was a most unselfish soul. She was a friend to all. Her greatest joy came in attending all of her children’s school and extracurricular functions – she was quite the super momma. DeAnn was preceded in death by her grandparents. She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly: husband Kelly Craft of Butler; son Kristopher Craft and wife Delista Craft of Butler; son Zachary Craft of Butler; daughter Lacy Shearer and husband Gage Shearer and granddaughter Kimbry Shearer of Twenty-nine Palms, California; son Trustin Simpson and wife Autumn Simpson of Kansas City, Missouri; father and mother Joe and Jean Christopher of Butler; sister Debbie Cole and husband Don Cole of Butler; sister Darcie Christopher Anderson of Kansas City, Kansas; brother Chad Christopher of Butler and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
