Papinville Historical and Cemetery Celebrates 28th Annual Picnic
A wonderful day was enjoyed in Papinville on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Clouds threatened to rain on the festivities but God blessed us by holding the rain off. Everyone was grateful and we thank everyone who contributed to our successful day. Around 100 people from all over the state of Missouri enjoyed the day.
Everyone enjoyed the Heart Felt Band and Friends as they played music all during the afternoon. The band was made up of Wes and Sharon (Coonce) Danner and their daughter, Lesli Hart. Kathy (Coonce) Stewart, Ivan and Martha Parton, Butch Eddington and Merle Teigen. How thankful we are to this faithful group who favors us with great music each year.
About 25 people enjoyed the talk and wagon ride about the history of the floods in this area. We thank Phyllis Stewart, our activity director, for all the hard work and research she put into this well received project. Thanks again to Don Pipin and Chris for providing our wagon rides again this year.
