A Celebration of Fall
The Adrian Chamber of Commerce has done a lot of wonderful things for its community. One of my favorites has been the past Fall Festival. For months now, the community of Adrian has tasked itself into creating a fantastic social event. On October 21st, Adrianites put the finishing touches on their Festival and (figuratively) opened their doors. People from all over came to celebrate with the people of Adrian. Vendor stands from Butler and Archie offered things like beauty products, food, crafts, and honey. As adults walked around and shopped, their children were able to have some of their own fun. Bounce houses sponsored by the Chamber, pumpkin painting sponsored by Yoss Thriftway, and face painting sponsored by the Adrian Library kept the little tikes busy as they laughed and played. Many of the older kids rode with younger siblings in the tractor train as it moseyed down Main Street. I was unfortunate to have been too big to ride.
