Butler Council Cuts Spending

Cutting unnecessary spending was very apparent during the July 2nd Butler Council meeting. The Council along with acting City Administrator Corey Snead is hard at work looking for ways to improve spending habits of the city. As a reporter and citizen of Butler, it is refreshing to see the council doing their due diligence. Many questions and concerns where raised back in June during the first “Town Hall” meeting. And the council seems to be responding accordingly. Some of the budget items discussed during the Butler council meeting were City owned facilities and Centurylink phone bills.
