The Henry County Health Center (HCHC) has received confirmation of three more positive cases of COVID-19, one resides in the town of Windsor, one from the town of Deepwater, and one from the town of Montrose. This brings the total number of confirmed positive cases in Henry County to 65.
According to Vernon County Sheriff’s Office Officials, a suspect is in custody after a lengthy narcotics investigation. During the investigation, the suspect was involved in at least five vehicle pursuits over the past four weeks. According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, suspected methamphetamine as well as stolen property were located during the investigation.

The Butler R-V School District is seeking applications for a Health Services Aide for the Elementary School. The primary function of this position is to assist the school nurse in various capacities including: monitoring students in the isolation room, providing healthcare/first aid, taking vital signs, assisting with screenings. The Butler R-V School District is located south of the Kansas City metropolitan area on I-49 Highway.
